Judge Jim Murphy (Ret.), Chairman

Spokane Native and Gonzaga University Law School graduate, Judge Murphy served on the Superior Court of the State of Washington for 18 years and the Spokane County District Court for 8 years. Prior to assuming the bench he was an Assistant Attorney General and Law Clerk for the United States District Court.
Jim's avocation is track and field where he serves on the Law and Legislation committee and as a drug hearing board panelist for USA Track & Field. He is chair of the cultural exchange committee and has been a member of the USATF Board of Directors since 2005. He has officiated NCAA national meets, the Goodwill Games, United States Olympic trials, and the Olympic Games in 1996. Jim also serves on the International Association of Athletics Federation Drug Arbitration Board.

Steve is a proud graduate of Rogers High School, Stanford University, and the University of Washington Law School. While in college and law school, Steve served as a counselor, and then Director, for two summers of the Spokane YMCA's Camp Reed.
Steve's community activities include past service on the Boards of the YMCA of the Inland Northwest, Daybreak of Spokane, and the Spokane Parks Foundation. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Lilac Bloomsday Association and the Spokane Public Schools Foundation. He is a former member of the Spokane Park Board, and was its president in 2000.

Pam Parks, Treasurer

Eastern Washington University
Currently Eastern Washington University's Associate Athletic Director-Senior Woman Administrator, Pam was the head volleyball coach at the university from 1985 until moving full time into administration in 2000. As a coach, Pam brought EWU Volleyball its first Big Sky Conference Championship and led her team to the NCAA Championships three times.
Pam is a Charter Cadre Member of the USA Volleyball Coaching Accreditation Program and a member of the prestigious NCAA Volleyball Committee. Pam's official service with the SRSC began in 1999 when she became a member of our Inland Northwest Sports Hall of Fame committee. She joined the Board of Directors in May of 2000 and began serving on the Sports Awards Luncheon committee the following year.
